Summary

[edit]
Description
English: 1969 AMC AMX, a two-seat muscle GT-type car built by American Motors Corporation in Kenosha, Wisconsin. It is finished in Big Bad Green, paint code P4 that was introduced for Spring 1969 - in mid-model year - and has the "over the top" racing stripes in black. These stripes were standard with AMC's "Go Package". The Go-Pac also included power disk brakes, Twin-Grip differential, and other high-performance components. Pure muscle power is delivered in abundance by AMC's 390 cu in (6.4 L) 315 hp (235 kW) V8 engine with the AMX's standard 4-speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter. Options on this car include the adjustable tilting steering wheel, factory AM/FM radio, and the "Rally Pac" instruments that are mounted in the center of the dashboard. The picture was taken during a 2015 meeting of the Potomac Ramblers Auto Club in Maryland. Note: the AMX in the background is a 1970 model.
