Description

These Triumph TR range of Sports cars were built between 1953 and 1981 in the UK. Changes from the TR2 to the TR6 were mostly evolutionary Even tho the chassis and drivetrain were unchanged from the TR3, the TR4 got a new more modern body, the TR3s cut away door design was gone to allow for wind up windows, it also got a wider track and rack and pinion steering. The engine capacity was increased from 1991 to 2138cc The TR4 was built from 1961-65. The update in 1965, the TR4A, got independent rear suspension. identical to the TR4 except the IRS badge on the rear. The TR5, still with the same body, was introduced in 1967, but now got 2500cc 6 cyl engine and fuel injection.

The TR250 was a non fuel injected version, it got twin carbs and was exported mainly to the US.
