This model Canadian Pontiac used Chevrolet chassis and drivetrains and Pontiac bodies and interiors. Right hand drive versions were exported to Australia in CKD and assembled by General Motors Holden. The 1965 Pontiac got a restyled coke bottle profile and Impala dash. In 1968 the headlights reverted back to horizontal and it got a beak nose split grille. Base model was the Strato Chief (US Catalina and Chev Biscayne). Mid was the Laurentian (US Star Chief and Chev Bel Air) and Top was the Parisienne (US Bonneville and Chev Impala). Engine; 350 cu in V8 |
