Description
English: 1967 Rambler Rebel SST two-door hardtop (no "B" pillar) made by American Motors Corporation (AMC) finished in blue. The SST was the top line trim version of the Rambler Rebel line (that was renamed AMC Rebel for the 1968 model year). This car has period-correct aftermarket alloy road wheels with red-stripe performance tires. It also has American Motors' new for 1967, 343 cu in (5.6 L) 4-bbl V8 engine with automatic transmission on center console. The air conditioning system is dealer-installed American Air unit given the center below dashboard controls (the factory A/C controls were integrated with the heater controls on the left fide of the dashboard). Photographs were taken at the end of the 2017 American Motors Owners (AMO) convention that was held in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This show was organized by the Potomac Ramblers Automobile Club.
