This wafted past me while I was walking back to the car at the mall. As it has been here since new I would say it was either brought in by a USAF member based at Christchurch Airport, or by a funeral company specifically for use as a hearse (they also brought in Impala and Caprice wagons for this purpose.) Apparently this is now running a 4.6 litre diesel, which sounds like the sort of engine you'd find in a Japanese light truck like a Nissan Cabstar/Atlas, Toyota Dyna or Mitsubishi Canter. |
