Summary

[edit]
Description
English: 1959 Metropolitan coupe marketed by American Motors in two-tone finish. The "Mets" were marketed from 1953 to 1961. The subcompact-sized, economical "captive import" was developed by Nash Motors. It was also sold as a Hudson when Nash and Hudson merged in 1954 to form the American Motors Corporation (AMC), and subsequently as a standalone marque during the Rambler years. Picture taken at the 52nd Annual "Das Awkscht Fescht" antique car show in Macungie, Pennsylvania.
