| Description |
The 1959 Cadillac got those huge tail fins with dual bullet tail lights, the grille had a jewel like pattern, it was longer and lower. Now available in 4 or 6 window 4 door hardtop, the 6 window had small qtr light windows and slim pillars, whereas the 4 window, no qtr lights but the roofline cantilevered out over the rear pillars. Models available in 1959; Series 60 Special; Luxury 130 in wheelbase, 4 door hardtop. The top of the line 60 Special got a side mounted dummy air scoop. Series 6200; 130 in wheelbase, 4 door 6 window, 4 door 4 window, 2 door hardtop and 2 door convertible Series 6300 deVille; 130 in wheelbase, 4 door 6 window, 4 door 4 window, 2 door hardtop. deVille script on the rear fenders Series 6400 Eldorado; 130 in wheelbase, 2 door Seville Hardtop, 2 door Birritz Convertible. Eldorado script on the front fenders and Stainless Steel sill moulds. Series 6900 Eldorado; 130 in wheelbase, 4 door Brougham Hardtop Series 7500 Fleetwood; 150 in wheelbase, top of the line 4 door sedan or limousine. Engine; 390 cu in V8 |
