| Description |
English: 1957 Fiat-Abarth 750 GT Corsa Competizione s/n 248883 at the 2014 Lime Rock Concours d'Élegance. Engine no 269412. This is one of about twenty official "Corsa" specced cars, and was delivered new on 4 March 1957 to Genovese racers Vittorio and Luciano Gianni. It finished third in class in the 1957 Mille Miglia (beating all of the 1000cc class cars!) but spent most of the time since then in storage. Between 1958 and 2011 the car was in right-hand drive configuration. Often referred to as a "1956", I suppose that's when construction began? Nice lineup of tools included in the display. |
