The 6th generation Buicks, 1954-56 were larger and roomier with panoramic windshield and blunt tail fins.The unique to Buick Ventiports were introduced in 1949, for 1955 and 56 they got 4 on the Roadmaster, Century and Super and 3 on the Special. The grille surround in 1956 was squared up and came to a V in the centre. Base model SWB Series 40; The Special, 1936-58. .
