Description

The 1955 Chevrolet got a new chassis and new styling, the start of the most popular generation of Chevrolets. The 1955 Chevrolet had a Ferrari inspired grille. As before it was available in Base 150, mid 210 and top, Belair. Not only did the Bel Air get the chrome on the rear quarter like the 210 (with Bel Air script above it) but got a chrome strip on on the front fender as well. Bodys; Sedan, Coupe, 2 and 4 door Hardtop, Wagon and Convertible. Chevrolets were also produced in Australia by General Motors using modified American bodies from 1926-68.
