The 4/44 was built from 1953-56 replacing the 4/50. It was only available as a 4 door saloon and got typical vertical Wolselsy grille, woodgrain dash and leather seats. It shared its body (except boot and rear wings) and mechanicals with the MG Magnette (the 4-44 had single carb, MG; twin) Replaced by the Wolseley 15/50 with new 1489cc engine and floor change. Engine 1250cc 4 cyl |
