Description

The Mk I Hawk was introduced in 1945 with a 1944cc Sidevalve 4 cyl, the 1948 Mk III got this completely new body and the 1950 Mk IV got the new 2267cc engine. The 1952 Mk V got a facelift to the front and this model , the 1954 Mk VI, a OHV cylinder head was introduced. From 1950, the body shape was shared with the Humber Super Snipe, it was slightly longer and got the larger 4138cc engine and uprated suspension.
