Description
English: A 1951 Allard J2X on display at the 2021 Greenwich Concours d'Elegance. This was originally sent to Peru (the only Allard sold new there), to Eduardo "Chachi" Dibos - the son of the Mayor of Lima. It was set up for a Chrysler engine which was later swapped for a Cadillac unit, later swapped for a Buick Nailhead V8. It is currently restored to its original colors of Grayish Silver over Red, and has a 331ci Nailhead engine with 6 Stromberg carburettors which is true to the state of this car in about 1957.
