Summary
[edit]Description1950s Fort Huachuca closed.jpg |
English: Fort Huachuca was deactivated on September 15, 1947, and reactivated four years later. After the Korean War, the post was briefly closed for a second time. Other than these two short closures, the fort has been in continuous operation as an active Army installation since 1877. Photo is of the North Gate, looking to the southwest. |
