Description

After World War II, BAC decided to diversify and formed a car division, which would later be Bristol Cars. The Bristol 400 was the first car built by the British Bristol Aeroplane Company. They used BMW engines and frames, the body was mainly steel, but with aluminium bonnet, door and boot skins. It had sliding side windows and all flat glass, but for the curved rear window, glazed in perspex
