Description
English: Hagers Diner Matchcover Allentown PA. Traditional diner that served home cooked breakfast, lunch and dinners. Closed in the early 1960s and the building moved elsewhere. The location now has several retail stores that was built on the site as the East Side of Allentown expanded the Union Boulevard shopping area. It should also be noted that the U.S. Route 22 designation of Tilghman Street/Union Boulevard was moved in 1957 to the Lehigh Valley Thruway when it opened.
