Description
English: Garden Diner Matchcover Allentown (Breinigsville) Pa

The Garden Diner opened in the 1940s and was owned by Thomas Sherwood. It was originally two railroad freight boxcars that were modified into a diner and was built by the Patterson Vehicle Co., one of 32 companies that made the rail car diners after World War II.

Closed and later became an adult book store in the 1970s. Torn down in 2003 when US 222 Bypass intersection was built near Breinigsville. The structure Was located at the site of current intersection. The diner was preserved by a Providence, R.I., group and moved to New England
