Selected Varieties La Fiesta Two New Spanish Beauties All of the gay fiesta colors are captured in these new varieties. Brilliant orange to bright scarlet, gold and gleaming yellows, provide a riot of color. Cheerful and gay, they will put you and your garden in a holiday mood. La Fiesta. Inanimate printer's inks, in the cut above, only partially bring out the vivid life in the predomi- nating red-orange shades, overlaid with yellow splash- ings. It is a mid-season bloomer, opening 6 to 7 large, well formed and well spaced flowers at one time; a tall and vigorous grower. 3 for 25c; 12 for 80c; 25 for $1.50; 100 for $5.10. Santa Fe. Brilliant, with deeper red tones than La Fiesta, this one produces large flowers of unusual beauty whose daintily frilled edges make them look almost double. Like La Fiesta, it is a mid-season bloom- er and grows vigorously. 3 for 20c; 12 for 70c; 25 for $1.25; 100 for $4.30. Apricot Glow. A tall, clear apricot, early flowering, vigorous growing variety. 3 for 15c; 12 for 45c; 25 for SOc; 100 for $2.65. Betty Nuthall. Next to Picardy this is perhaps the most popular of all Gladiolus. The color is a glowing orange-pink with a yellow throat; 6 to 8 blooms open at once, borne on unusually long spikes. 3 for 15c; 12 for 45c; 25 for 75c; 100 for $2.60. Charles Dickens. Unquestionably one of the finest red varieties. 3 for 20c; 12 for 55c; 25 for $1.00; 100 for $3.45. Dream of Beauty. Flowers of purest rose-red on tall growing spikes; excellent for cutting. 3 for 20c; 12 for 55c; 25 for $1.00; 100 for $3.55. Debonair. This tall, strong growing variety is one of the earliest to bloom. The La France pink flowers fade to shrimp-pink and deli- cate cream at the throat. The well spaced blooms open 6 or 7 at one time. 3 for 15c; 12 for 40c; 25 for 75c; 100 for $2.60. 14
