[edit]Description1939 BARC Whit Alfa 8C 412.031 Hunter.jpg |
English: Hugh Hunter in his Alfa Romeo at B.A.R.C. Whit Monday race at Brooklands in 1939. Not sure what race this is. This was the last year of races at the Brooklands. In the back, #1 looks like a Delahaye 135, possibly driven by Arthur Dobson, and if so, was the winner on 29 May 1939 at Brooklands.racingsportscars.com And, the Alfa did not complete due to gearbox problems.<ref>race results |
