In 1936, Buick gave names to its different models; Base model Series 40; The Special, 1936-58 Mid model Series 60; The Century, 1936-58 New Top model Series 80; The Roadmaster, 1936-58 Top Limousine Series 90; The Limited, 1936-42 With the Roadmaster only a Sedan and Phaeton was available in 1936, in 1937 the Roadmaster gained a divided grille with horizontal bars. The center section of the grille was painted to match the body of the car. Fenders became squared off and the headlight shells were gracefully streamlined Engine; 248 cu in straight 8 (Specail got 258 cu in 6) |
