Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 or 2900 Zagato

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Alfa Romeo 8C spiderio by Zagato. [1] It is an 8C with s/n 2111038. One historian claims it is an 8C 2600.[2] License number "34713 TO", TO=Torino. Was shown like this (with Zagato spiderio body) at a motor show in Milano in 1937. May not exist anymore, or perhaps the body was removed and the chassis used for some other car (above historian claims Felice Bonetto drove it as entry #150 in Mille Miglia in April 1938 with a regular Monza body. Around 1957 the body was put on an 8C 2900 with s/n 412011 (see above reference) by then UK owner Jack Hayward. One internet page calls it a "Carenato Zagato"[3]
