Summary

[edit]
Description

E.L.Cord, who also owned Auburn bought Duesenberg in 1926. The Model J Duesenberg was a luxury car built from 1928-37. More famous people bought the Model J than that of any other American car. They had a 420 cu in straight 8 engine. The Model SJ was the supercharged version. The Model JN had a different body, set on the chassis rails for a lower look. It also had skirted fenders and bullet-shaped taillights. Only 4 of these Cabriolets were built, the first going to Clark Gable. This car is the only Supercharged JN built and has only covered 16500 miles.
