Description

This is a Talbot 90 from 1931 seen at the 2017 Regent Street Motor Show in London. This car has a 6 Cylinder overhead valve engine 69.5mm x 100mm 2276cc single carburettor. Drop head coupe body Designed by Offord and built by the Carlton Carriage Company.

The Talbot 90 was a tuned version of the 75 model developed at the suggestion of London agents,Fox and Nicholl,as a sports racing car in 1930.During 1930 a racing team of Talbot 90's was entered and run by Fox & Nicholl with factory support .This vehicle was first registered on January 21st 1931 and sold to the Union steel and manufacturing co.and registered to a Ronald Hampton in Tettenhall Staffordshire. Acquired by the current owner's family in 2007. Following a full restoration in 2010 it is now used regularly and a delight to drive....
