Description
Nederlands: De familie Schreurs. Gezien vanaf de hoek Pepijnstraat (vroeger: Broekstraat) - Fort St. Michielstraat. V.l.n.r.: A. Schreurs (oprichter transportbedrijf), bijgenaamd Schreurs Nôlke; Baer Schreurs (ex-eigenaar van café "Huize Clara" op de Horsterweg; knecht Jeu Klaassen uit Grubbenvorst; Sjaak Schreurs. De paarden werden door hen genoemd (v.l.n.r.) "De krômme vos"; "de kleine"; "de schaele" (paard was links een oog kwijtgeraakt in het prikkeldraad in de wei); "de vos". De dieren zijn zo prachtig opgetuigd, omdat ze voor sierwagens moesten lopen ter gelegenheid van de zogenaamde Antonius - optocht, waarschijnlijk de naamdag van St. Antonius, patroon van de Antonius - stiftkerk.
