Summary

[edit]
Description
English: 1928 Chrysler model 62 with a custom Estate Wagon body built by H.H. Babcock of Watertown NY. This could be the final automobile body that was built by Babcock as the company was finishing filling commercial bodies under old contracts before shutting all its operations in July 1928. The original owner of this car was Bernard Edwin Hutchinson (1988-1961), treasurer at Maxwell Motors from 1921, and then appointed by Walter Chrysler to the board of directors at Maxwell in 1922, and then vice president and treasurer at Chrysler from 1924 to 1952. Picture taken during the 2015 Rockville Antique and Classic Car Show in Maryland.
