Summary

[edit]
Description
English: From the museum website:

Made in a factory on North Hillside, this Swallow crashed in 1929 and was put into storage for decades. Museum volunteers spent many hours and called on a wide range of resources and skills to return it to like-new beauty, completing the restoration in May 2004. Wood, wire and fabric aircraft such as this must be kept inside to protect them from the sun and our sometimes turbulent Kansas weather, underscoring the need for a new hangar/aircraft display building.
