A las cinco de la mañana de hoy ha dejado de existir en esta corte el respetable señor D. Lorenzo Martínez Ruiz, persona recta y bondadosa que pasó por la vida haciendo el bien. Su muerte ha de ser muy sentida, y por ella enviamos nuestro sincero pésame a su viuda, doña Guadalupe Romillo, y a sus hijos doña María, D. José, D. Antonio y D. Pablo. El cadáver del Sr. Martínez Ruiz ha sido hoy embalsamado, para ser conducido mañana al hermoso panteón que la familia posee en el pueblo de Irús (Valle de Mena).

Descanse en paz el caballeroso señor.
