Description
Deutsch: Bildseite der in den 1920er Jahren von der Luftphoto-Verlagsgesellschaft in Berlin verausgabten Ansichtskarte, am 18. Juni 1926 von Hans Emil Reclam (1881-1943) rückseitig beschrieben anlässlich einer ".. Angelegenheit ...", adressiert an Reclams Schwiegervater Fritz Schroeder in Cassel.

Die Luftaufnahme ist auf der Bildseite im Vordruck zweizeilig untertitelt

„Das Reclamhaus in Leipzig, enthaltend Verlagsbetrieb, Druckerei, Buchbinderei, Licht- und Kraftanlage und Nebenbetriebe mit über 400 Maschinen in Arbeitsräumen von mehr als 13000 qm. Aufnahme aus einem Flugzeug von der Luftphoto-Verlagsgesellschaft m.b.H. Berlin.“

Die Grundstücke der genannten Immobilien kontrastieren zu der absichtlich unterbelichteten Umgebung, die Anlieger-Straßennamen Egelstraße, Inselstraße und Kreuzstraße wurden für den Vordruck handschriftlich in das Bild eingefügt.
Auf der Seite des Reclam-Museums heißt es zu der Abbildung weiterhin:

„In dem Gebäude links neben dem Verlagsgebäude, in der Inselstraße 26, wohnte Anton Philipp Reclam (1807-1896) von 1895 bis zu seinem Tod. Das Haus wurde im Zweiten Weltkrieg zerstört. Heute steht an dieser Stelle ein Nachfolgebau vom Ende des 20. Jahrhunderts.“
