Description
Deutsch: Lageplan der ehemaligen Wallburg „Sieben Gräben“ auf dem Schleipenberg in Hagen-Hohenlimburg. Die stark befestigte Burg diente wahrscheinlich dem Flankenschutz der (Hohen-) Limburg während ihres Baues im 13. Jahrhundert. Ein kompliziertes Wall-Graben-System, die Wälle vermutlich als Holz-Erde-Befestigung konzipiert, umschloss ein relativ kleines, ovales Kernwerk mit Steinmauer und Steinturm (siehe Karte). Ihr ursprünglicher Name ist nicht bekannt, 1907 von Hermann Esser noch „Schanze“ genannt, nennt man heute ihre Reste „Sieben Gräben“.
