Description
English: September 10th 1917 photo when the Allentown Brigade of the Pennsylvania Militia was federalized for active duty during World War I. The photos shows thousands of people surging towards the train as the militiamen on the train began to leave for Camp Hancock, Augusta, Georgia for basic training.
