Phew. As discussed below, this is quite a bitza. Apparently it has the shell of an American Underslung, which is an extremely rare early American car made between 1905 and 1914 by none other than Harry Stutz, of the famed Stutz brand, in one of his early ventures with the American Motor Car Company in Indianapolis - not to be confused with AMC who were much later. However, this one appears to have several 1920s Willys-Knight bits as well (ie the grill) and apparently came from Australia in 2008? It hasn't been registered since April 2009 yet this was taken 4 and a half years later and for all intents and purposes appeared to have been driven to this show? |
