Description
Deutsch: Als bauvorbereitende Maßnahme für den Mittellandkanal wurde 1913 in Hannover im Zuge der Straße Großer Kolonnenweg die nach Kaiser Wilhelm II. benannte Kaiserbrücke durch die Bremer Niederlassung der Bauunternehmung Windschild & Langelott errichtet. Das auf Eisenbetonbau spezialisierte Unternehmen mit Sitz in Dresden und weiteren Niederlassungen in Berlin, Bromberg (Provinz Posen) und Königsberg (Ostpreußen) ließ das fertiggestellte Bauwerk mit seinen vier Pylonen – vermutlich unmittelbar nach Fertigstellung 1913 – durch einen ungenannten Fotografen aufnehmen, der zum Größenvergleich eine Person im Bild postierte. Die Fotografie wurde anschließend als Werbe-Ansichtskarte vervielfältigt.
