Description
English: 1911 map of a proposed New Haven Railroad tunnel from South Station to East Boston, during the time that the New Haven was considering electrifying its Boston commuter lines. The proposed tunnel would go under the Boston Harbor and East Boston, with an incline leading to the Boston, Revere Beach and Lynn Railroad (which then relied on ferries to get passengers to downtown) at Harbor View.
