Description
English: 1910 map of the Boston subway and streetcar systems, showing lines added since 1898 and those proposed at the time. The Tremont Street Subway, East Boston Tunnel Washington Street Tunnel, Washington Street Elevated, Atlantic Avenue Elevated, and Charlestown Elevated (to Sullivan Square) were completed by 1910; the Cambridge Subway (opened 1912), Lechmere Viaduct (opened 1912), Charlestown Elevated to Malden (completed only to Everett in 1919), and Riverbank Subway (never constructed) are also shown.
