Description
English: Suffering from dehydration and exhaustion in the South Texas heat while attempting to cross through dense and expansive brush lands to evade U.S. Border Patrol an illegal immigrant rests in the back of a Border Patrol vehicle while receiving an IV administered by a U.S. Border Patrol Search, Trauma, and Rescue (BORSTAR) agent near Eagle Pass, Texas, June 20, 2019. Members of BORSTAR have been strategically deployed to high-traffic areas to assist in the humanitarian challenges presented by the dramatic increase of migrants crossing into the U.S. this year.
