Description
Deutsch: Wohl in einer Ausstellungs-Halle neben einer Engelsfigur fotografierte ein noch nicht identifizierter Fotograf den hannoverschen "Flugpionier" Karl Jatho und dessen Schwester auf dem nach Jatho benannten Tandem "Riesen-Sociable-Zweirad", das für die Aufnahme sicher stillstand und stabilisiert wurde. Das Riesenrad fuhr mit der größten aus Holz gefertigten Fahrradfelge der Welt: Eine „Wulst-Pneumatik“, genauer ein Excelsior-Pneumatic-Reifen" der Firma Hannoverschen Gummi-Kamm-Compagnie, Act.-Ges. mit einem Durchmesser von 2,60 m legte bei jeder Umdrehung 8,16 m zurück. Die hölzerne Felge war im Jahr 1900 oder 1901 von den Gebrüdern Forcke in ihrer Fabrik am Immengarten 8 in List hergestellt worden ...
