About ten days earlier than the Wethers- field, and somewhat smaller; close grained and heavy, of mild flavor and an excellent keeper. A great fa- vorite among the Orange Co., N. Y., growers. Andrew Schriver, Newburgh, K '., who had thirty pounds of our Southport Red Globe onion seed last Spring, writes: Xewburgh, N. Y., Sept. 6, 1899. Dear Sirs: My onions are very fine, round and solid. They are full size, high color and will stand shipping to the ends of the earth. Early Yellow Cracker. Undoubtedly the earliest yellow onion that can be grown from the seed. It id quite flat, sure to bottom and getting more and more popular for a first early sort. It is also a remarkably good Southport Iello20 Globe, keeper. Price pkt., 5c.;oz.,20c; i lb., 50c; lb., $1.60; 5 lb. lots at $1.50 per lb. Large Red Wethersfield. A leading variety in the Eastern States.; it grows to full size the first season from seed, almost round, large size, deep red color and keeps well. Price per pkt., 5c; oz., 15c.; i lb., 40c.; lb., $1.25, 5 1b. lots at $1.15 per lb. The Early Yellow Cracker onion is the earliest of ail yellow onions.
