Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Looking southwest at the top floors of 1900 M Street NW in Washington, D.C., in the United States. This 12-story, Modernist building was built in 1974 by developer Melvin Lenkin and designed by architect Vlastimil Koubek. The building features a cutaway, cantilevered front corner; ground floor arcade; and setback, two-story penthouse level. Many of Koubek's buildings feature a two-story penthouse set back from the main facade. This building has that feature. The glass curtain wall of the penthouse is made of solarized dark bronze glass, which contrasts with the clearer, blue glass used for the main portion of the building.
