Log Cabin Also known as Mark Heard cabin. Moved from Danburg area to replace original Callaway cabin.
Grey House Plantation plain style. Oldest Callaway residence. Hand sawed lumber.
Log Barn Originally located at the rear of Grey House
Log Corn Crib Moved here from Court Ground area. Chestnut logs.
Brick House Typical plantation mansion. Brick made and fired on site.
Smoke House Frame construction using round poles.
Callaway Plantation
Never sold from original Land Grant. City of Washington acquired 56 acres from Callaway descendants by gift. Family still owns considerable acreage adjoining.
