Description
English: 18th century map of the Loire river from Jargeau (east) to Chécy (upper edge od the picture). The picture shows Jargeau, Darvoy, la Pointe (now les Pointes) and Sandillon aligned on the same road on the left bank of the Loire. The spring of the Loiret river called Le Bouillon is about 2.5 km to the left.
Français : 18e s.- la Loire de Jargeau (à l'est) à Chécy. L'image montre Jargeau, Darvoy, la Pointe (de nos jours les Pointes) et Sandillon alignés sur la même route en rive gauche de la Loire. La source de son affluent le Loiret, appelée Le Bouillon, se trouve à environ 2.5 km du bord gauche de l'image, dans la commune d'Orléans, quartier Orléans-La Source.
