English: De Naald van Waterloo, commemorating the latest Victories by the Allies over the French dictator Napoleone Buonaparte (1765-1821) – at Quatre-Bras (1815, June 16th) and Waterloo (1815, June 18th) – thus putting an end to two decades of repeated wars and their endless tallies of deaths, systematic looting and ruins all over Europe. 2 – Rear Face – East (ENE).
