Letter of March 11, 2014 from Alex C. Wiedenhoeft, Ph.d., United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Forest Products Laboratory, one Gifford Pinchot Dr., Madison WI 53726-2398 to Norman Muller: "I have identified the specimen you submitted to the Center for Wood Anatomy Research wood identification service. Your specimen was received on 4/24/2013 and identification was completed on 2/14/2014 the identification is as follows: 1. Sequoia or Sequoiadendron, degraded wood, not consistent with Tahitian origin for the wood." 24.8 x 147.7 cm. (9 3/4 x 58 1/8 in.) frame: 31.2 x 153.7 x 4cm. (12 5/16 x 60 1/2 in.) The Henry and Rose Pearlman Foundation, on long-term loan to the Princeton University Art Museum L.1988.62.62
