English: 38 Lithic implements

1) 4 blades and flakes average size length 22mm, width 14mm, thickness 6mm. All have a creamy patina. a] 3 Blades, Late Mesolithic- Early Neolithic b] 1 flakes, Neolithic

2) Core length 35mm, width 29mm, thickness 20mm. Multiple flaking scars cover all sides, these scars suggest flakes rather than blades, creamy patina, date Neolithic.

3) Core fragment length 13mm, width 23mm, thickness 16mm. Thin flaking scars taken from one direction, this is the bottom of a conical core, creamy patina, this artefact dates to the Late Mesolithic.

4) 4 Miscellaneous retouched pieces average length 27mm, width 25mm, thickness 5mm. Short direct flaking scars on one side, two have a creamy patina and one is a grey flint with a patina forming, date Neolithic-Bronze Age.

6) Awl length 43mm, width 16mm, thickness 6mm. This is an awl on a blade with two arises on the dorsal, the distal end has been knapped into a point with abrupt, direct retouch on the right side. Creamy patina with light grey mottling, date Late Mesolithic-Early Neolithic.

7) Awl length 35mm, width 25mm, thickness 4mm. This is an awl on a flake with one arise on the dorsal, the distal end has been knapped into a point with abrupt, direct retouch on the left side. Creamy patina, date Neolithic.

8) Thumbnail scraper length 16mm, width 15mm, thickness 6mm. Direct semi-abrupt retouch along the sides and the forward edge, creamy patina with dark grey mottling, date Late Neolithic-Early Bronze Age.

9) Petit Tranchet arrowhead Length 23mm, width 16mm, thickness 5mm. Three arises run across the waist of the piece, creamy patina, date Neolithic.

10) 24 fragments of debitage. (not photographed) 9 Secondary waste flakes average size length 25mm width 14mm, thickness 3mm. All have less then 50% cortex remaining. Date Prehistoric. These are waste flakes from the manufacturing process.

15 Tertiary waste flake, average size length 16mm, width 25mm, thickness 6mm. prehistoric. This is a waste flake from the manufacturing process, prehistoric date.
