English: 64 Lithic implements

1) 6 blades average size length 31mm, width 13mm, thickness 7mm. Most have one arise on the dorsal, most have a creamy patina, one is a grey flint with a patina forming, these date to the Late Mesolithic-Early Neolithic.

2) 2 Microliths average size length 8mm, width 5mm, thickness 3mm. Both have one arise on the dorsal and have abrupt retouch blunting one side. Both have a creamy patina and date to the Late Mesolithic.

3) Core length 23mm, width 31mm, thickness 25mm. Flat top, multiple flaking run around two side which are long and thin, creamy patina, date Late Mesolithic.

4) Core length 43mm, width 31mm, thickness 45mm. Multiple flaking scars cover all sides, these are taken form a number of directions, creamy patina, date Neolithic.

5) 2 Miscellaneous retouched pieces average length 52mm, width 55mm, thickness 12mm. Both have short direct flaking scars on one side. One has a creamy patina and the other is a grey flints with the patina forming, these artefacts date to the Bronze Age.

6) 3 flakes average size length 19mm, width 20mm, thickness 5mm. All have a creamy patina and most likely date to the Neolithic.

7) Truncated piece length 12mm, width 15mm, thickness 3mm. multiple flaking scars on the dorsal and ventral, this is most likely the butt of a leaf shaped arrowhead. creamy patina, date Neolithic.

8) Triangular arrowhead length 33mm, width 33mm, thickness 11mm. One high arise runs down the centre of the dorsal, creamy patina, date Neolithic.

9) Oblique arrowhead length 35mm, width 14mm, thickness 3mm. Triangular in plan with a tang on the left side of the base, grey flint with a creamy patina, date Neolithic.

10) Side and end scraper length 27mm, width 26mm, thickness 8mm. Direct semi-abrupt flaking scars on the forward edge and right side, light grey patina, 80% cortex on the dorsal, date Late Neolithic-Early Bronze Age.

11) Possible axe butt length 20mm, width 38mm, thickness 17mm. Multiple flaking scars on the dorsal and ventral sides, oval cross section, creamy patina, date Neolithic.

12) 3 serrated blades average size 35mm, width 22mm, thickness 7mm. One edge has very fine retouch which has created a saw like blade, two have a creamy patina, one is a grey flint with a patina forming, Date Neolithic.

13) 41 fragments of debitage. (not photographed) 13 Secondary waste flakes average size length 27mm width 17mm, thickness 6mm. All have less then 50% cortex remaining. Date Prehistoric. These are waste flakes from the manufacturing process.

28 Tertiary waste flake, average size length 29mm, width 17mm, thickness 10mm. prehistoric. This is a waste flake from the manufacturing process, prehistoric date.
