中文（臺灣）：圖題〈四川全圖〉，係描繪四川省所轄十二府、三直隸廳、八直隸州、六廳、十一州、一百十二縣等行政區劃及境內河道、湖泊之分佈。全圖以計里畫方的方式（每方百里）繪製，方位標於圖之四邊。境內河道密佈，長江橫亙境內南方。圖左下方附圖說，敘述境內若干府、州道路里程及省會成都府與京師順天府（北京）的方位、距離、里程。圖中以不同符號標誌府、州、廳、縣位置，詳盡標示主要的市鎮村堡；另鄰省境外接界的州縣，也分別標示。本圖圖面略微破損。
本圖為《皇朝直省輿地全圖》套圖之一，全套圖明顯是在康熙以來繪製全國政區輿圖的基礎下及參考胡林翼（1812–1861）主持編繪的《大清一統輿圖》所完成的。全圖以方格不附經緯繪製；各圖圖幅大小不一，不便裝訂成冊。全套廿六幅；其後崇文書局（湖北官書局）再補繪〈新疆圖〉，共廿七幅成一套。套圖的行政區劃內地各省以同治元年（1862）為斷；是十九世紀中期所編製較準確的分省輿圖。
English: The map depicts mountains and lakes in Sichuan Province. Text on the bottom left records the number of prefectures, municipalities, sub-prefectures, and counties. The note also gives the distances from cities and towns to the provincial capital, Chengdu Fu, and its distance and location in relation to Shuntian Fu (Beijing). The map uses the Chinese cartographic grid; a side of each grid represents 100 li (approximately 33 miles). The orientation is marked along the borders on all four sides. Different symbols are used to indicate the location of prefectures, municipalities, sub-prefectures, and counties. Major cities and towns are prominently marked. The note also records adjoining states and counties along the border.
The map is one of 26 maps in the atlas (not the 1879 Huangchao...) compiled by the Hubei Province official press (Hubei Guanshuju )in the 3rd Year of Qing Tongzhi Reign (1864). |
