Description
English: 1860 stamp of Cuba with portrait of Isabel II, overprinted "Y¼" for local use in Havana. Because the overprinting was typeset, individual variations exist in the overprint. Altogether there are 26 varieties recognized. This particular overprint is distinguished by the fact that the lower left serif of the letter "Y" is broken off. The stamp overprint of 1860 is different from the 1857 overprint in that in the former, the "¼" is approximately the same height as the "Y".
