Description
Deutsch: Als Teil der traditionellen Trachten im Bückeburger Land wurde in der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts - mutmaßlich zwischen 1850 bis 1880 - dieser für eine Braut gefertigte Hochzeitsmantel (Umhang, denglisch "Cape") dieser mit aufwändigen Stickereien mit Glasperlen in Handarbeit bestickte Brautmantel gefertigt. Der lange Überwurf aus bedrucktem Baumwollstoff wurde über ein Innenfuttter aus gewalktem, oben gerafften Wollstoff gelegt. Wohl unterhalb des Brustbereichs mit seinem gesmokten Kragen trug die Jungfrau ein weiteres Teil an zwei Bändern vor der Front, der drei Blüten an einem Blumenstock aufgenäht wurden. Dem Schmuckstück sind drei Bommeln untergehängt ...
