Description |
Deutsch: Die Dargestellte war die Gattin des erfolgreichen Wiener Kunsthändlers Plach, der auch Waldmüller und Amerling vertrat. Sie war wegen ihrer Schönheit stadtbekannt – die Plach angeblich auch bei Verkaufsgesprächen einzusetzen wußte. Amerling stellt seine Frau intim im Morgenrock mit einem von Rüschen gerahmten üppigen Dekolleté dar. Um ihre Schönheit zu unterstreichen, greift er auf den Stil des Spätbarock zurück. So erinnert das leuchtend rosa Inkarnat an Darstellungen von Rokokodamen. Hierin zeigt sich eine historisierende Tendenz, wobei der mit der Vorstellung an glanzvolle Sinnenfülle verknüpfte Rokokostil zur Umschreibung des persönlichen Flairs der Dargestellten aufgegriffen wird. |
