Description

This medal commemorates the completion of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. It was started by Napoléon 1 in 1806 and completed by Louis Philippe in 1836. The obverse depicts Napoléon and Louis Philippe with the legend "God Protect France".

The reverse has a view of the monument with the legend "The French Army".
