Description
Deutsch: 1828 von Christian Rosée gezeichneter und gestochener Kupferstich ("Christ. Rosee del. & sculp.") mit einem Blick auf das Grabmal von Albrecht Dürer von schräg links auf dem St. Johannis Friedhof in Nürnberg. Die Gruft zeigt die leere Inschriftentafel von Joachim von Sandrart aus dem Jahr 1681 sowie die Platte mit den Wappen von Dürers Schwiegereltern Hans Frey und Anna Rummel.

Oberhalb der Grablege brachte Rosée ein Textfeld auf mit je ein Dürer rühmendes Gedicht in lateinischer und deutscher Sprache.

Das beschnittene und leicht fleckige Blatt aus der Provenienz des Bamberger Kunsthistorikers und Kunstsammlers Joseph Heller (1798-1848) hat die Maße circa 25,7 x 21,1 cm, während die Facettenprägung circa 22,5 x 18,7 cm misst.
